Two years ago my journey started for raising money for KIKA (foundation for children 100% cancer free) in combination with speedcycling. With a group of 16 speedcyclists we came up with the idea to challange the famous Italian mountain named the “Stelvio” and join the "Giro di KIKA". Because of corona the trip was postponed twice. But finally last week we travelled to Bormio. A gorgeous village in Italy and a paradise for cyclists. After acclimatizing to the altitude and after several training rides last Friday we challenged the Stelvio from 2 sides. What a tour with spectacular views of mountain sceneries ! Besides that and even more important, my team raised almost 30.000 euro and in total 888.771 euro was raised ! Awesome !
